After the break for the All 80s Christmas Show we are back with more Flip Side 45. This week it's from Rod Stewart's 1984 album Camouflage. "Infatuation" went to #6 in the US but the flip side is actually from the 1980 album "Foolish Behavior". It's "She Won't Dance With Me".

This week's Flip Side 45 comes to us from London, England and the band originally known as "The Baseball Boys". We know them better as "The Outfield". Their rookie album, "Play Deep" lined up with the home run "Your Love" and the flip side, "61 Seconds".

As a former member of Genesis, Peter Gabriel's fifth studio album, So, was well received by critics and radio. 3 songs off the album hit the Hot 100 and three more were hits for rock radio.

This weeks Flip Side 45 went to number 1, the hit "Sledgehammer" and the flip side "Don't Break This Rhythm".

This weeks Flip Side 45 was the first release from the album "An Innocent Man". Billy Joel's #1 smash in September of 1983, "Tell Her About It" and the flip side, "Easy Money".

This week's Flip Side 45 takes us back to 1986. From the album Mad, Bad and Dangerous To Know, it's Dead Or Alive's Top 15 smash "Brand New Lover".

Joan Jett was the girl with an attitude. This week's Flip Side 45 is from her 1981 album "Bad Reputation". The Top 20 hit "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)" and the flip side "Victim Of Circumstance".

This week takes us back to 1985 and the album "Afterburner". This ninth studio album by ZZ Top went to number 4 on the charts and produced such hits as "Stages", "Rough Boy" and this weeks Flip Side45, "Sleeping Bag" with "Party On The Patio" as the flip side.

This week's Flip Side 45 has a quasi-Halloween feel to it. From Pat Benatar and her 1982 album "Get Nervous" it's the hit "Shadows Of The Night". Flip the record over and you'll hear "The Victim".

Last weekend we took a break for the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon. We are back with the Flip Side 45.

This week it comes from Bryan Adams' 1984 album Reckless and his 1985 hit "One Night Love Affair". The song went to number 13 on the US Billboard charts. The flip side, "Lonely Nights" which is also the lead track from his second solo album "You Want It, You Got It".

This week's Flip Side 45 is from the lead vocalist of Foreigner. Lou Gramm's solo debut album Ready Or Not. The song "Midnight Blue" went to number 5 on the Billboard charts in 1987. The flip side, "Chain Of Love".

Happy Birthday to Tiffany who turned 38 on October 2rd! In celebration, this week's Flip Side 45 is from her 1988 hit "All This Time" and the flip side "Can't Stop A Heartbeat"

Keeping with the show's Oktoberfest theme, this week's flip side is from After The Fire. Der Kommissar ("the commissioner" or police captain) went to #5 on the US Billboard charts. The flip side, Dancing in the Shadows.

This weeks Flip Side 45 is from Scottish singer Sheena Easton and her self-titled (at least here in the US) debut album. The hit song "Morning Train (9 to 5)" reached Number 1 in the US, Canadian, Australia, and New Zealand. The flip side to Ms Easton's first hit in the US was "Calm Before The Storm".

This week's Flip Side 45 is the Top 10 hit for R.E.M. from the 1987 album Document. The song is "The One I Love" and the flip side of "Maps and Legends [Live]".

This week's Flip Side 45 is the huge #1 smash hit by Olivia Newton-John, "Physical" and the flip side of "The Promise (The Dolphin Song)". Physical spent 10 weeks at the top of the charts, making it the biggest hit of 80s!

This week's Flip Side 45 is the #1 hit by the Cutting Crew, "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" and the flip side of "For The Longest Time"

Flip Side 45 #14

This weeks Flip Side 45 is in tribute to John Hughes, the writer/producer/director of many classic 80s movies who passed away Thursday. The #1 hit "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds from the 1985 movie The Breakfast Club. The flip side is "A Brass Band In Africa".

The producer, writer, and director of "Breakfast Club", "Sixteen Candles", "Some Kind Of Wonderful" and other classic 80s movies has died at 59.

Adventureland: Pays Tribute to 80s Movies

The new film "Adventureland" plays tribute to 80s films, particularly those by John Hughes.

"The Breakfast Club," "St. Elmo’s Fire," "Say Anything," and "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" are just some of the movies that resonate throughout "Adventureland".

What's next,"Retro Magic: The Musical"?!

A Broadway show that features rock songs from the 80s is now open at the Brooks Atkinson Theater in New York.

The show consists of songs such as "I Want to Know What Love Is," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Here I Go Again," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and others, performed at deafening volume by the hard-rocking five-piece onstage band.

Those seen in attendence: Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and members of Night Ranger.

PETA asks Pet Shop Boys to change name

The Pet Shop Boys have been asked by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals) to changed their name to Rescue Shelter Boys. The duo, consisting of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe acknowledged the full request on the Pet Shop Boys website, and while the request may seem bizarre, it could raise awareness to "cramped, filthy conditions" that breeders keep animals in before selling them to pet stores, PETA said in its letter.

The musicians said they were "unable to agree" to the request "but nonetheless think (it) raises an issue worth thinking about."
