Flip Side 45 #62
This week's Flip Side 45 comes from 1985 John Cougar Mellencamp album, Scarecrow. "Rumbleseat" was the last single from the album and was released in 1986. It went to number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. The flip side? A James Brown song called "Cold Sweat".

This week's Flip Side 45 was written in 1966 and was originally a Top 20 hit for Simon And Garfunkel. In 1987 a harder edge version of "Hazy Shade Of Winter" was recorded by The Bangles for the film "Less Than Zero". This version went to #2.
The flip side is also from the movie. Performing the song "She's Lost You" it's "Joan Jett and The Blackhearts".

Greatest American Hero actor dies
The actor that portrayed the FBI agent Bill Maxwell in the 80s show "The Greatest American Hero" has died. Culp died Wednesday after a fall outside of his Los Angeles home. He was 79.

Jermaine Stewart release his album Frantic Romantic in 1986. The first single from the album was the number 5 smash We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off. The flip side, "Give Your Love To Me".
Sadly Jermaine passed away March 17, 1997 from AIDS-related liver cancer. He was 39.
